Product Design & Development

The core business of Epiphany Designs is product design and development. We are able to help our clients navigate through their project step by step. As clients begin to imagine their project, our first step is to capture what they imagine in the form of drawings. The drawings are the foundation of any project because they communicate exactly what it is that you want. Epiphany Designs can furnish clients with an assortment of drawings such as detail, assembly, 3-D renderings, and exploded drawings.

At Epiphany Designs, once we create drawings and 3-D renderings, we have the luxury of being able to do a stress analysis of the prototype before any manufacturing is done. This allows us to see how much pressure, force, and load bearing the prototype can take. Being able to design and test the prototype within the cadd software can save thousands of dollars.

If an inventor or just an everyday person thinks he or she has a viable product, then designing the prototype is half the process. Marketing the invention is very critical. At Epiphany Designs we offer marketing assistance to our clients. Of course you think your product is fantastic but you need to know what others think. Also as an inventor you need to know about packaging, pricing, demographics, and “pitching” your idea.

Epiphany Designs also offers manufacturing assistance to our clients. Getting a prototype massed produced can be a daunting task. We will help you seek out the right manufacturing company to compliment your product. Producing a final prototype or product is the accumulation of the previously mentioned product design and development services. Epiphany Designs can produce prototypes in a variety of metals and ABS plastic in seven different colors.

Getting your invention patented can be a lengthy process. Epiphany Designs can assist clients with securing a provisional patent. The provisional patent will give an inventor a “patent pending status” for one year. During that year, the invention is protected legally. The provisional patent is popular because it will save the inventor thousands of dollars in lieu of a regular patent.
